Signer Instructions - Mobile Notary

  • Preparation

Your documents should be complete except for dates, initials and signatures. If you are unsure how to fill in the blanks or have any questions, check with the party requiring the document beforehand, as Notaries cannot provide advice.

If you need Witnesses, please be sure they are willing, can be present at the time/place of our meeting and have a valid ID also. See our FAQ’s for a list of acceptable ID’s. Here is some general information on getting your documents notarized.

For Blue Notary, you will Register your new account and Confirm your email. Then your will be asked to upload your unsigned documents, choose meeting time (defaults to current time, change if want to schedule in future) choose type of Identity Authentication (Knowledge Based Authentication or Biometrics-Facial Recognition), add any Additional Signers, Invite Witness and Observer and add any Notes for the Notary. Next you will take a photo of your ID (to use phone, select ‘another device’ to get QR code). Lastly, you will also complete your payment information.

Join the Meeting and let’s get this done!

  • During and After

After a warm greeting, Jeffrey will confirm that your ID Check has passed and your faces is the one on the ID. Then you will be asked some questions signifying that you understand the documents, are participating freely and your marks on them is legally binding.

Then we will go through every page together, gathering your initials, date and signatures, ensuring that everything is 100% complete. One last review together, then Jeffrey will complete the notarization and issue the stamp(s).

You will be able to download copies of your documents immediately after our Session.

Done! Congratulations on handling your business!
